New workshop attendees often arrive with a folder of charts — or none at all because they were unsure what to bring. The preparation guide we send after booking asks for exactly two.
Chart one: a setup you took recently
Choose a trade you actually entered in the past two weeks. Include entry, stop, and target as you planned them at the time — win or loss does not matter. We will mark up what you did and discuss alternatives.
Avoid cherry-picking your best trade of the year. The workbook is most useful on ordinary setups where placement was debatable.
Chart two: a setup you skipped or missed
This chart should show a move you watched but did not trade. Write one sentence on the printout explaining why you stayed out — fear, unclear stop, bad timing, or something else.
Comparing a taken trade and a skipped trade reveals habits that a single chart hides.
Format and size
A4 colour print is ideal. Laptop export works if you prefer digital markup, but most traders find pen on paper faster during the structure scan panel. Include the timeframe in the header you write by hand — do not assume the instructor recognises the zoom level.
What not to bring
- Charts from markets you have never traded
- Signal service screenshots without your own markup
- More than two charts (time per person shrinks quickly)
After you print
Read the pre-session email about panel order. Try filling panel one on one chart at home. If you get stuck, note where — that stuck point becomes your first question in hour one.
